NICIE is a non-departmental public body sponsored and supported by DE. Its role is to promote integrated education and to perform a wide range of roles in facilitating the development of integrated education in Northern Ireland for the public benefit.
GTCNI is the statutory, professional and regulatory body for teachers in grant-aided schools and peripatetic teachers sponsored by and reporting to DE. It is dedicated to enhancing the status of teaching and promoting the highest standards of professional conduct and practice.
CnaG is a non-statutory body that receives its core funding from DE. It promotes Irish-medium education and performs a wide range of roles in facilitating the development of Irish medium education.
