Sustainable Development Strategy (lead Department OFMDFM)
The Executive published the Sustainable Development Strategy, "Everyone's Involved" on 27 May 2010. The strategy and its accompanying implementation plan is intended to ensure socially responsible economic development while protecting the resource base and the environment.
The Department of Education supports the promotion of sustainability through the development and management of its estate and through the education of young people by incorporating sustainable development in the school curriculum.
