Integration Works – Transforming your School Guidance

As part of its statutory duty to encourage and facilitate integrated education, the Department has produced the operational guidance below, Integration Works: transforming your school, to support schools that wish to consider Transformation.
The guidance is primarily intended for use by Boards of Governors of schools and school Principals either considering or in the process of transformation.
It explains what is meant by integrated education and transformation, identifies key issues which are likely to arise and how they might be addressed, outlines the legal and administrative processes and requirements and provide details of the various sources of advice and assistance available.
