Early Years Portage
The project has enabled staff within the Education Authority to become trained in portage; a home-based educational service for pre-school children with SEN and their families.
In doing so the EA is seeking to work with young children with SEN as early as possible and provide evidence based, measurable interventions which will lead to better transitions between home and school.
