Education Technology Service
The Education Authority is leading the development of a new school network system that will replace the current C2K platform. The new Education Technology Services (ETS) system will be made available in all grant aided schools from 2021.
It is hoped that nursery schools and units will be included in the scope of the contract for the first time. It is anticipated that the system will continue to support a range of school management functions such as assessment, school development planning, teaching and learning, pupil record management, finance, staffing and HR records.
The new system will be publicly procured and is being designed in partnership with school leaders and other key stakeholders across Northern Ireland.
