Projects advanced in planning

The Department issued a list of the 50 successful schools who applied to the first call under the School Enhancement Programme.  You may view this using the link below:

50 schools were informed that their applications had been successful and would be advanced in planning.

In a statement to the assembly by the Minister of Education on 22 January 2013 a new School Enhancement Programme was announced.

The original deadline for the submission of applications was Friday 12 April 2013, in light of representations made to the Department, the Minister agreed to extend the deadline for the return of applications by four weeks to Friday 10 May 2013.

Projects supported under the School Enhancement Programme are subject to securing the necessary approvals and clearances needed.

All projects supported must be consistent with and supportive of the area planning work currently being undertaken.
