Children and Young People's Strategy Initial 3-year Delivery Plan 2021-2024 - Consultation Report

The Children and Young People’s Strategy Team (CYPST) has completed its analysis of responses to the public consultation on the Children and Young People’s Strategy Initial 3-year Delivery Plan 2021 – 2024 (the Delivery Plan).  

The Executive approved the draft Delivery Plan for public consultation in December 2021. The public consultation launched on 13 January 2022.  The consultation lasted for 10 weeks and concluded on 25 March 2022.

In total, 40 stakeholder responses were received to the consultation. This total includes 24 from the online Citizen Space platform and 16 stakeholders providing hard copy/email responses. In addition, a total of 69 young people participated in the face to face and online zoom meetings facilitated by Education Authority (EA) Youth Services.

There was positive engagement in the consultation process and respondents also identified gaps and/or suggested where improvements could be made.
