Consultation description

The Department of Education intends to make regulations providing for the extension of arrangements regarding compensation for redundancy and premature retirement of members of the NI Teachers’ Pension Scheme (NITPS) to cover members of the new Career Average Revalued Earnings (CARE) scheme introduced in April 2015. The regulations will revoke and replace the Teachers’ (Compensation for Redundancy and Premature Retirement) Regulations (NI) 2010.
