Education Minister, Peter Weir, today visited Sacred Heart Grammar School, Newry to view the £1.77m improvement project.
The project involves the extension and renovation of the old science block to provide four new general classrooms and refurbishment of the remaining five science classrooms following investment through the School Enhancement Programme (SEP).
Speaking during the visit, the Minister said:
“I welcome the opportunity to be here today to meet pupils and school staff and to view progress on the building work. The £1.77million investment to provide new and refurbished classrooms for Sacred Heart Grammar School will benefit the entire school community now and for future generations.
