    Date published: 30 November 2016

Education Minister, Peter Weir, has viewed progress on the new build at Drumlins Integrated Primary School in Ballynahinch.

    This will be a state-of-the-art-seven class-base school.

Speaking during the visit the Minister said:

“I welcome the opportunity to visit the school today in order to view the works carried out to date. Ongoing investment in our schools estate is essential if we are to continue to provide a high quality education. Investment in our schools estate also benefits the local economy and secures construction jobs."

The new build for Drumlins Integrated Primary School was announced in June 2014 under the major capital works programme.

    The Minister continued:

“I would like to thank everyone involved with this project for their hard-work and commitment in taking the project to this point. I wish everyone well for the future and look forward to visiting when the build has been completed.”
