Deferral of school starting age - report on the outcome of public consultation

The consultation on Deferring School Starting Age has now closed. The consultation report contains a detailed breakdown of responses to all consultation questions. In total, 755 responses were received. Whilst a number of respondents were teachers and school leaders, the largest volume of responses came from parents, who made up around two-thirds of respondents.
