The Department of Education’s statistics and research policies and procedures

Each team is led by a Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) Senior Principal Statistician. 

All Official Statistics and Accredited Official Statistics published by the DE Statistics and Research teams are produced in line with the principles set out in the Code of Practice for Statistics. Any research is also undertaken in accordance with the Government Social Research (GSR) Code.

The Standards for Official Statistics in the Code requires DE to publish the following organisational policy documents and statements, relating to Official Statistics production:
