Drawing the Future - Exploring the Career Aspirations of Children in Northern Ireland

The ‘Drawing the Future’ report explores the career aspirations of primary school children in Northern Ireland. It reveals the lack of awareness many children have about the future career opportunities open to them. It shows that children’s knowledge of future careers is heavily based on what they see around them – their family, people working in the local area, or on TV, the internet or increasingly on social media, and is impacted by social and economic deprivation.
