Education Authority - full business case

In June 2013, the Department of Finance and Personnel (DFP) approved the Full Business Case for the Education and Skills Authority (ESA), submitted to it by the Department of Education (DE). Since then, the Executive has agreed (1) to withdraw from its 2011-15 Programme for Government the commitment to establish the ESA; and (2) to amalgamate the 5 Education and Library Boards (ELBs) and their Staff Commission into a single Education Authority.
