The Department of Education makes the following Cancellation Notice in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 38(3)(c) and paragraph 17(8) of Schedule 17 to the Coronavirus Act 2020.
The Coronavirus Act 2020 Temporary Modification of Education Duties (No. 21) Notice (Northern Ireland) 2021, is cancelled on 5 February 2021.
This cancellation notice is necessary given that the provision of food parcels in special schools has been suspended.
Under paragraph 17 of Schedule 17 of the Coronavirus Act 2020 the Department is required to publish the notice and to take steps as the Department considers reasonable to bring the notice to the attention of those likely to be affected by it.
