The Coronavirus Act 2020 Temporary Modification of Education Duties (No. 13) Notice (Northern Ireland) 2020, is cancelled with effect from midnight on 16 October 2020.
This cancellation notice is necessary because the Executive announced on 14 October 2020 that all schools will close for an extended Halloween break from 19 to 30 October to assist in slowing the spread of Coronavirus.
Under paragraph 17 of Schedule 17 of the Coronavirus Act 2020 the Department is required to publish the notice and to take steps as the Department considers reasonable to bring the notice to the attention of those likely to be affected by it.
