Cancellation of The Temporary Modification of Education Duties (No. 2) Notice (Northern Ireland) 2020The Department of Education makes the following Cancellation Notice in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 38(3)(c) and paragraph 17(8) of Schedule 17 to the Coronavirus Act 2020 .
The Temporary Modification of Education Duties (No.2) Notice (Northern Ireland) 2020, issued on 2 April, omitted sub-paragraphs (1) and (2) of Paragraph 2 as a consequence of typographical and formatting errors, which may have caused or be likely to cause confusion.
As such, The Temporary Modification of Education Duties (No. 2) Notice (Northern Ireland) 2020, is cancelled with effect from 1 pm on 09 April 2020.
Under paragraph 17 of Schedule 17 of the Coronavirus Act 2020 the Department is required to publish the notice and to take steps as the Department considers reasonable to bring the notice to the attention of those likely to be affected by it.
