Play for Parents Guide

Playing is the most natural way for children to learn, grow, develop and make sense of the world and their place within it and children’s health and happiness is usually parents and caregivers number one priority!As part of the Department of Education’s Play Matters project and in conjunction with PlayBoard NI, we have developed a new resource aimed at parents. The resource has lots of fun play ideas to try alongside information on the importance of play, types of play, and playing throughout childhood from birth to 18.
