    PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) was commissioned in November 2008 by the Department of Education to carry out an audit of counselling services and other therapeutic interventions in primary and special schools in the North of Ireland. The main purpose of the study is to inform policy direction by determining the nature and level of need in relation to the emotional health and well-being of pupils in primary and special schools and to identify any related services or initiatives currently being implemented in these settings
