Outdoor Learning Project

At the start of February 2025, Education Minister Paul Givan officially launched the Outdoor Learning Project to enhance pupil experiences of outdoor learning.
The project represents a £4m investment for pre-schools, nursery schools, primary, schools and special schools to buy outdoor furniture and equipment they need most to enhance high-quality outdoor learning.
The Outdoor Learning Project forms part of the Minister’s Curriculum-led Capital Programme.
