Education Minister, Peter Weir, today visited Banbridge High School and had a tour of the school.
During the visit the Minister had the opportunity to visit a variety of classes and also had a question and answer session with sixth form students.
Speaking following the visit, Peter Weir said:
“I welcome the opportunity to visit the school today and meet with all the pupils and staff. This is a key part of my role as Education Minister and one I greatly enjoy. It is always interesting to meet with pupils across Northern Ireland and hear about their different experiences.
“I would like to thank everyone involved in today’s visit for their warm welcome and I wish all staff and pupils every success for the future.”
