Management information on attendance of pupils and workforce in schools

To coincide with the commencement of the new academic year management information was collected from schools and educational settings to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on pupil and workforce attendance.

The management information presented in the following links was derived from two sources. Firstly, a weekly data collection from grant-aided schools to gather information on workforce attendance, collected initially every Tuesday starting on the 18^thAugust, the data for which are available on the Open Data NI website below.

Secondly, a cumulative weekly report on pupil attendance that began the week commencing 24^th August when pupils returned to school. This report is taken direct from the School Information Management System (SIMS) at no further burden to the schools. Figures reflect the responses made by schools and other educational settings.
