Locality Profile

The RAISE Lurgan/Brownlow Locality comprises 11 Super Output Areas (SOAs) which are Drumgask 1, Drumgask 2, Drumgor 1, Drumgor 2, Church, Court 1, Court 2, Drumnamoe 1, Drumnamoe 2, Mourneview, Woodville 1. There are 3,895 number of pupils enrolled in nursery, primary and post-primary schools,  according to School Census data 2024/25.

RAISE Lurgan & Brownlow Strategic Area Plan

The RAISE Lurgan and Brownlow Strategic Area Plan sets out the context of the locality and identifies what the key issues are that underpin educational disadvantage within the locality.  The plan includes objectives and high-level actions that are consistent with the Strategic Objectives of the Programme and are based on the needs of the locality, research and evidence of what works.

RAISE Lurgan & Brownlow Locality Reference Group

To drive forward the development of the Strategic Area Plan, a Locality Reference Group was established in each RAISE locality. The membership of the RAISE Lurgan and Brownlow Locality Reference Group is outlined in the Terms of Reference below.

RAISE Lurgan & Brownlow Locality Led Projects

To deliver against the objectives and high-level actions set out in RAISE Strategic Area Plans, a call was opened on 5 September inviting proposals for Locality Led Projects.  PLEASE NOTE: The call for project proposals closed on Monday 6 October 2025 at 12 noon.
