Transforming to Integrated Education
Information on the process to acquire Integrated Education status, known as Transformation
Transforming to Integrated Education
Transformation is the process through which an existing school changes its status and becomes integrated, subject to statutory requirements and Ministerial approval.
Integrated status is not defined solely by a school’s designation. It must be demonstrated through the composition of the pupil body and the delivery of an integrated ethos in practice.
Transformation will only be supported where there is clear and credible evidence that it will result in a school that meets the statutory definition of Integrated Education in practice.
