    The Department of Education hosted the ‘Tackling Educational Underachievement – Sharing Best Practice Conference’ on Tuesday 21 February 2017 at the Spectrum Centre, Belfast.

    Tackling Educational Underachievement – Sharing Best Practice Conference

    The aim of the conference was to highlight the value of collaboration between schools, parents and local communities to address the causes of educational underachievement and to help all of our children and young people to succeed.

    The event provided an opportunity to share the innovative practice that is already improving outcomes and included presentations from guest speakers representing schools, educational research and community organisations.
