TUPE allowance

The Determination below gives effect in law to the payment of a Transfer of Undertakings Allowance to the teachers formerly employed in the Northern Ireland Office Training Schools who are now employed by the South Eastern Education and Library Board or the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools.

Acting allowance

This circular stipulates conditions applicable for a teacher receiving an acting allowance, confirms that the term 'near relative' in the Appendix note of 1990/32 and 1990/60 also means 'son or daughter-in-law' and confirms the leave of absence and pay for adoptive mothers.
