Arrangements for the restart of area planning functions and activities



Following the formal decision to stand-down all area planning activity from 3 April 2020 to support the response to the COVID19 pandemic, the Department reviewed arrangements for the submission of consultation responses in respect of all Development Proposals published prior to 26 March 2020.   Where appropriate, the closing dates for the submission of responses were extended to ensure a full 2 month period was available to anyone wishing to make a response to a published proposal.

A list of development proposals published and awaiting a decision is provided in the table below. The table includes a short description of the reason for the proposal, a link to download a copy of the published proposal and the final, revised date for submission of consultation responses.

Comments and objections

Comments in relation to any proposal should be submitted to the Area Planning Policy Team before the end of the objection period. Please quote the development proposal number, school name and school reference number in all correspondence.
