The Statistical Analysis Team provides the Department of Education, its arm’s‑length bodies and the Education and Training Inspectorate (ETI) with a professional statistical and research service to support policy development and improve decision‑making.

We produce and publish education statistics in line with the Code of Practice for Statistics. Our Official Statistics are independently regulated by the Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR).
The Education Statistics Data Compendium provides an overview of data from across the Department of Education’s statistical publications and a number of related research surveys that support education policy in Northern Ireland.
